Mission Accomplished
Highlights--started at 7:30 this morning--vomited while biking by 8:00--home by 12:00. By 12:30 at pool. Made it to a kid's bday party at 3:00 showered. Started running at 6:00. It is 8:00 and I just got off the trainer to make up for those "lost 4 miles."
I reek of a strange combination of chlorine, sweat and icing. (adding beer very very soon.)

Congratulations and good luck to all!

Going for the gold on Friday. Starting with 3mi swim follow with the 36 mi bike and close the day with easy 10k run. Should be fun. Already took half a day vacation to do this.

I just realized I was still a member of the Silver group. No reason for that, since I ended up qualifying myself for Gold. I am so much happier now, I feel like I just got called up from the Minor-leagues!

Because I will be on vacation during my birthday, I will be busting out the Gold Challenge tomorrow. It will be during the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics, which I run every year. 3 mile swim, 35 mile bike, and 5 mile run. I'll be running more than 5, but will hit my split at the 5 mile mark for time. Will post results tomorrow!
