About Me:
I started paticipating in triathlons in 2007. 3 sprints, 1 olympic, and 1 half later...i am hooked! Oh yeah I decided in the midst of this nonsense to throw in my first marathon, too!
But, I really want the big boy - Ironman Arizona 2009.
I am planning to do two halfs (White Lake Half and Timberman 70.3) in 2008 as well as hopefully running my second marathon, the Richmond Marathon.

I train with the best group of ladies ever! TRIgirl Training! We are known for sporting the best pink with the loudest cheers at races. And oh yeah wine socials when not racing!

You can post the results on your own Blog if you add it to this page (use the menu bar above to add a Blog). That way they will also appear on the B-Fit B-Day home Page. You can post the results in the Forum, or you can create a text block for this page and post them.

Please let me know your times and I will add you to the age records.

Congrats and Happy B-Day.

You rock, the first one to do the Silver Challenge!

unfortuantely the whole work thing during the day doesn't allow me the time to complete the gold - bummer! guess I will have to wait until my birthday falls a weekend for that one.
where do I post results and such?

That's great, Melissa. Yeah, what a hot day! I always love seeing the tri-girls around at the Virginia races. I live in Harrisonburg, and wish there were a spirited, motivated group of women for my wife to train with.

My daughter loved volunteering that day. She got an awful sunburn, but insisted on staying out there until the very last person finished. She's subsequently finished her first sprint tri (she's 14) and wants to be a race director when she grows up :-)

Maybe I'll see you at races this summer.

Hi Melissa,

That's my daughter in your photo, standing there waiting to give you your medal! That's the Patriot half, right? I did it and my family volunteered. Have a great time on your b-day! I did the Gold Challenge last Saturday and had a blast.
